Pastor Johanna Rehbaum

Garden pastorThough Pastor Johanna has lived all over the country, she is a Northern California girl at heart. Having majored in music (oboe performance) and religion at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN (’05), she spent a year living in a village in Slovakia through the ELCA’s Young Adult in Global Mission program, teaching English and getting to know the locals. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Yale Divinity School (’09), and a Master of Sacred Theology in practical theology from Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. Pastor Johanna loves to hang out with her husband Michael, her Dachshund Klaus, and her beautiful daughter Grace Victoria. She loves music of all sorts (both listening and making), her family, playing sports (especially soccer), reading, writing, vintage clothing, dogs, people, avocados, and the kind of peaches that drip all down your arm.

Organist Evelyn Wing-Yan Lam

Born in Hong Kong, Evelyn Wing-Yan Lam started learning the piano at the age of 7. Evelyn studied in London before beginning at the Eastman School of Music in 2009, where she received a Bachelor degree in Piano Performance in 2013 and a Master of Music degree in 2015. She is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Art in Piano Performance and Literature.

Evelyn often gives outreach recitals in schools, senior homes, churches and also the George Eastman House.   Evelyn is also the studio pianist for the Lauren Haley Studios in Houston, Texas – where she accompanies and teaches. Though very proud of her many accomplishments, she is most proud of her family, and how close they are even living on opposite sides of the world. She is eager to grow in her relationship with God through the people of Bethlehem.

Sexton Carl Bardo

Carl is a lifelong member of Bethlehem. He is always at the church, taking care of the cleaning, the grounds, bringing in the mail, and all kinds of other things. Having grown up at Bethlehem, he truly takes pride in his work, and we are glad to leave it in his cheerful care.
